I have been coming here since I was a child had lots of fond memories from the past I visited last night and was appalled by everything. We had my niece 10 and nephew 12 who barely eat anything with us as where told due to there height it’s adult price for buffet there was no way we where paying £61 for them to eat some rice and a prawn toast. We asked if they could order of the À la carte menu and they refused they said you all will have to order À la carte or the buffet menu they can’t do 2 different menu for 1 table. So this is what we done. We then asked what doesn’t contain nuts because my nephew has a severe nut allergy. They said everything has traces of nuts so they can’t guarantee they don’t change the oil or cook separately. We then asked for tapwater and were told that they don’t do tapwater only bottled water that we had to pay for. The coke was flat even after we asked them to change it and the food to be honest was pretty average. The bill came to over £300 As we ordered off the à la carte menu, we asked for some takeaway boxes to take them home, they gave us two small ones between seven of us. We then asked for more and were told if we have any more their 75p each Container. Considering we’ve just spent over £300, I was gobsmacked that they were wanting to charge us 75p for a metal takeaway container. Unfortunately, will not be returning, which is such a shame, as me and all my family have loved this place for years. Unfortunately, you have lost a huge amount of custom from me and my family and from my partner’s family and all their family. We celebrated the Chinese New Year with friends at Kei's. The short number of staff compensated with professionalism and effort during a busy day. The food seems family style, fresh and delicious. Came here in a group of 11 for a birthday. Service was not great, no major issues, just not very friendly. Food was average, nothing special. Portion size was very small, we all got the set menu and all left still hungry. For how expensive it was, I expected much better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
