Description

Nestled within the Oracle shopping center in Reading, this café is a charming pitstop for shoppers looking for refreshment. With comfortable seating and a clean, inviting atmosphere, it caters to individuals, families, and couples alike. The friendly staff provide quick service, ensuring a welcoming experience. While the small size and occasional chilly drafts from the entrance may deter some, the café offers a delightful selection of snacks, sandwiches, and fresh cakes. Free WiFi is a bonus for visitors wanting to stay connected. However, the inability to accept cash is a notable downside that warrants reconsideration for inclusivity.

This Costa is quite small in size. The drinks were well made and the staff were friendly. Seating is limited and the interior can be a bit chilly due to the door constantly opening and closing.

This is located inside the Debenams in the Oracle in Reading, so you can stop off after a long walk around the shops. It's located near the exit/entrance and is easy for the less abled to come in and order and relax. The furniture is good standard wood and steel with comfortable chairs and on this visit was very clean. I did notice that the staff were very fast in ensuring that the tables were clean after the customers had left. The service was ok and I had a nice welcome and all looked happy. There is seating for at least perhaps 20 people and of course the selection of snacks, sandwich and cakes looked all nice and fresh. This place will appeal to all folk and couples and families. The lighting was good and there is free WiFi for those like me that need to keep connected and write these reviews. I am happy with the service and would come again..

There is not a huge amount to say about this branch. It doesn't stand out. But if you are a fan of Costa's it is conveniently located and appears to be disabled friendly. Reasonably spacious

First time in here , since quite some time. I Used to come here more frequently. On Wednesday I got my “drink in” black Americana it was a sunny day I enjoyed sitting outside. Here most customers stay for long periods , not just to finish their drinks food then leave. Seems that they are not in a rush to go back to work business. On Friday it was going to rain , so I was carrying my umbrella in one hand and my “drink in “ Black Americana in my right hand , for no obvious reason , my new shoe decided to crash into the outsider barrier , however fortunately thanks to a customer who strongly held my arm , I didn’t fall down but my cup did. I went inside to inform the staff , they kindly checked that I was alright , asked me to go back to my seat outside , cleaned the mess accidents can happen replaced my Americana with a new one. Highly appreciated the staff prompt reaction and the good service.
