Chicken Base - Reading

There food is very good . the Chicken Tikka is 10/10 the Lamb Donner is 10/10 and it actually tastes like lamb unlike other places The masala fish is excellent

Missing everything from the order apart from the dry smelly chickens which wasn't edible. I called the shop and tried to find out what happened with the order but the guy over the phone told me that driver is on its way with missing items without even asking me any questions about my order. Driver never turned up and order was missing the chips drinks sauces which I paid extra or any napkins or cutlery which I specially requested.

It's actually Monday night, I ordered pizza 1 hour and 40 minutes ago. Still didn't arrive. We're totally hungry and frustrated. Money was charged, I hope I will get my refund.

I 've recently moved to the area (admittedly from a different part of the same town), and as I tend to work late and long hours, a don 't have the energy to cook situation often arises. I 've always found this place to be a good solution. Staff are usually very friendly and helpful. The food is, in my experience, generally slightly better than their local direct competitors, for pretty much equivalent price. (I have heard from friends of one or two slightly disappointing experiences usually slightly small portions it seems,and never about food quality or safety but I 've never seen anything to genuinely complain about myself) Give it a go. Make your own mind up!

Last night my family and I were scrolling through uber eats desperately trying to find something to eat..... then lay our eyes upon chicken base. with so much to choose from (masala fish, spicy chicken, curry, pizza and more), how could we say no? seeing as delivery is a steep £3, we decided to call and pick up our order. big. mistake. service was insufficient from the get go. Bloke wouldn't read back our order, clearly because he hadn't actually bothered to listen, and was also very rude about it which left me feeling disgruntled. said the order would be ready in 10 minutes all that food in 10 minutes? a miracle. if only miracles were so. Got there after 20 minutes or so, to be greeted as if they had no idea we were arriving. No trace of our order or so we were told. After kicking off, they somehow have retrieved our order and make us wait another 10 minutes. shocking. stomach was rumbling and started to feel lightheaded at this point. didn't even throw in any free drinks for the inconvenience. Also forgot my apple pie. completely down to negligence and bad customer service. nuggets were also dry and unseasoned shocking. should have gone to PFC, won't be returning again.
