The staff were amazing, so attentive and always checking if we wanted more drinks, water, sauces, pancakes, they could not have done enough and were so on the ball. Well done all, thanks for a great meal we will be back

Without asking at the end... read more What an absolutely fantastic restaurant. This has quickly become our favourite restaurant and my son asked us to book it for his 21st. Without asking at the end of the meal the waiters gathered round and sang happy birthday to him and even had a firework type candle in his dessert. They also gave us our first round of drinks on the house! Incredibly nice people, and the food is the best we have had from any Chinese, perfect portions. Highly recommend!

Busy car park indicated the advised popularity was spot on, reaffirmed by how rammed the restaurant was full of jolly noise, birthday ballons in some tables and cakes with sparkling candles on others clearly a well earnt stamp of tangible popularity indeed. We were promptly shown to our table with a smile and a warm greeting by our lovely host. Drinks orders quickly taken and subsequently delivered. It was if mysticmeg had predicted what we wanted and advised the restauahead of time. Prosecco was delicious and chilled to perfection. Lager head for my guest was a funny shape which only added to the joviality. Food order was equally taken with speed and the Chinese banquet begin the in the same speedy manner. Food was superb but the ribs and japanese grill gyōza do deserve a special mention. Our young lady host was just superb even dealing with my partners dad who always tries to pull a harmless prank.everywhere we go and orders duck off the hoof but our lovely host handled it with a laugh and a smile and a lovely polite verbal clip around the ear for my mature guest and he loved it too. The surprise cake to celebrate Janet 's and Alan 's long anniversary was a lovely surprise and when the bill arrived again promptly and without fuss the second bottle of prosecco was provided FOC. All in all there is no faulting Chef Peking..service was perfect and speedy, food was delicious and the hosting was just exactly what we wanted and for the price well it and the team there are without fault....even offering us doggy bags for the abundance we were served. My only word of advice to new visitors to Cheo Peking is pleae go hungry and with an appetite. I guarantee you will not leave with anything other than a full and content fat belly....we did. Thankyou Chef Peking. A lovely night indeed....even with the extra stone or so we all put on with that delicious food . Thankyou.
