Tucked away beneath the hotel, I stumbled upon a delightful little gem. I chose to visit because they were offering a 50% discount with a Taste Card, which made the prices very reasonable for such delicious food. The butternut squash and coconut soup as an appetizer was wonderful, and the steak with pink peppercorn sauce, hand-cut fries, and arugula salad was incredibly tasty. I would definitely go back again. View all feedback.

On a positive note, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived; we received a small box of handmade chocolates, which was a lovely touch that enhanced our experience. The bar also impressed me, and I would highly recommend the pear and elderflower bellini to anyone stopping by for a drink.
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Reading. Although it is on the expensive side, the quality of the food is excellent. It's not the fastest service, but everything is definitely fresh, so I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes; we usually go out for a special occasion. I believe the cocktails are the best in Reading—we even go there just for them sometimes. We've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries there, and each visit has been unforgettable. We even took our baby for breakfast, and the waiter kindly took her for a walk so we could enjoy our meal in peace! Now that's what I call great service!
