The restaurant has extensive menus and caters for all tastes, with fresh and bright British, continental and Indian dishes, with meat, fish and vegetarian in all cuisines. A set two or three course menu and a la carte, all of which were happily interchangeable. The staff are attentive and very pleasant. I booked as friends had recommended and was not disappointed ! This was a birthday meal and if you are celebrating such an occasion, then you MUST let them know ! They made up the most stunning 'Happy Birthday ' plate with morsels of deliciousness. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning, makes a excellent and welcome change to pub fare much better value, and in delightful surroundings. Tables are well spaced and the restaurant, bar area and general areas all seemed extremely well kept, clean and fresh.
Delicious food, great service and lovely restaurant. My only slight complaint is the portions were a little small.
Myself and partner had the 3 course meal for my birthday treat. It was very disappointing. The chicken liver pâté tasted straight out of a tin and so salty made me feel sick. The steak was fat with a tiny bit of meat. The desert was so sickly after 1 bite you were done. The couple next to us agreed and thought the food was also disappointing. We did not enjoy one dish. It’s a huge shame. We had extra costs included.. even for sauce which was odd as who has steak with no sauce?! Really disappointing and would not recommend. Would also like to say that whilst speaking to others that evening they also agreed that the food was ‘disgusting’’
The food quality during our recent visit to the restaurant was not as good as it had been when we dined there several months ago. While my pork dish was satisfactory, it did not measure up to a similar dish I had enjoyed back in April. My husband noted that each piece of duck on his plate had a different flavor, prompting him to inquire if they were different cuts of duck. Unfortunately, the waitress did not return with an answer. My son's chicken nuggets were overcooked and dry, and I found it audacious to charge £6.50 for just two slices of garlic bread from the kids menu as a starter. Additionally, the air conditioning was uncomfortably cold during our visit. Although the staff was friendly, we are likely to skip this restaurant next time due to the decline in food quality.
