Baranda
Menu
The menu of Baranda from Reading contains about 201 different menus and drinks. On average you pay about £9 for a dish / drink.
Dining experiences can vary widely, and this restaurant reveals the full spectrum. While some diners rave about delicious meals and excellent home delivery services, others lament over poor service, lackluster food, and high drink prices. Complaints about delays and staff rudeness have prompted many to seek alternatives. In contrast, positive accounts highlight enjoyable buffet nights and thoughtful gestures, such as complimentary meals for unwell patrons. With entertainment options like tribute nights, this venue aims to cater to diverse tastes, yet consistent quality and customer service remain concerns. Potential diners should proceed with caution based on these mixed reviews.

I haven't visited this restaurant in over a year. It can be best described as okay, but nothing more than that. They have entertainment there every Wednesday, if I remember correctly, featuring an Elvis impersonator. View all feedback.
What RAKESH P dislikes about Baranda:
I ordered Chicken Karahi and another recommended Chicken curry last night, but both dishes lacked taste and flavor. They were undercooked, and it seems like the chefs have a lot to learn. I tried calling to provide feedback but couldn't reach anyone. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone as it was a very bad experience and a waste of money. View all feedback.
While on a business trip in the Wokingham area with a few colleagues, we decided to try out this restaurant for dinner one evening.

I am reviewing the Sunday buffet at this restaurant. It has been years since I last dined here on a regular night, back when it had a different name.
What an amazing Indian restaurant! The home delivery service was exceptional and the food was top-notch. Thank you to Baranda for the wonderful dining experience. Happy New Year!
