My company had a big gala. We hired Delightmore, for catering. Every time I go to a catered event, I expect to get an offering of what everyone else got without the meat. Never vegan. Always vegetarian. So I was blown out of the water when I experienced an actual vegan meal that was totally different than everyone else’s. The mushroom was marinated and so flavorful. There was even a vegan dessert.Besides the food, our contact was amazing. Jumped to the job, whatever it was. Took service to the next level. Thank you again for making the night so special!

I reached out to Vonderhaars a couple of months ago to get a quote for our wedding reception food for 200 people. We are going through a venue that requires us to use one of their 8 exclusive caterers. I decided to look into Vonderhaars because the menu looked the best, and showed the pricing for each item. I had my consultation call with Lori. I definitely felt that I was being pushed towards a plated dinner even though I preferred a buffet. She kept saying that it was “classier” and she also pushed me towards the more expensive dinnerware that I didn’t really care about. I asked if we’d be able to make changes afterwards and she acted like it was no big deal and nothing was set in stone. I received my quote a day later. I didn’t realize the fees would add SO much. Most of the dishes were around $30 a person so I was expecting maybe $7000 total. The food was only $9480 but the fees made the entire thing $19,954. The drinks alone were like $3000 for water and pop which is ridiculous. I reached out and asked if we could adjust our menu to make it a 1 entree buffet instead of the 2 entree plated dinner, and to just do disposable dinnerware, and never heard back. It definitely made me feel like they only cared about getting the most expensive job out me. I got a different quote from village pantry and it was half the price. The food looked amazing but I was pretty disappointed in the fees and lack of follow up.
