What BillS doesn't like about Carlo Johnny:
My $70 NY strip was hardly edible!! Not a first time there experience. Like chewing on a piece of leather. I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse on a bad day. I don’t send food back due to the horror stories you read about that can happen to returned food. A $70 steak should not have to be sent back to begin with. My wife’s filet was very good. One of the restaurants in the Cincinnati area. You won’t be disappointed
We had a great dinner on Monday evening in the bar. Staff was very attentive and kind. Food was excellent. Steaks were delicious. The one thing we didn't care for was the creamed corn...seemed too mushy and overly sweet. Probably just not our preference. The server took it off the bill, which we did not expect at all. Everything else was fantastic
Our evening was just perfect from start to finish. Our server Kirk was outstanding and explained everything beautifully and made suggestions to compliment our meals. It's great to know that even during a pandemic, the Jeff Ruby experience is consistent and thrives. We can't wait to come back again when all is normal and we can enjoy the electricity you feel when the restaurant is full of patrons
