Reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some diners were disappointed in the slow service they received, with delays in getting drinks, food, and the check. One reviewer noted a menu change that they were unhappy with, missing their favorite items. Another diner experienced a hostess mix-up that caused a delay in service, although once they were seated, the server was fantastic. The burgers at this restaurant are top-notch, but unfortunately, the hostess service left something to be desired. Despite having reservations, we were made to wait while a party of three without reservations was immediately seated. There were plenty of open tables available, but it took a while for us to be accommodated. When we were finally seated, we were placed in an area without a server, leading to a 30-minute wait for service. After bringing this to the hostess's attention, it took another 10 minutes for us to be served. Once Peggy Sue became our server, however, the experience improved significantly. The food was good overall, though not exceptional.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite having made a reservation over a week in advance, we were seated at a table near the door that kept getting rolled together with other tables after my party had checked in. The ambiance was unpleasant and we were constantly hit with cold drafts every time the door was opened. The staff at the front desk seemed disorganized, as we were asked multiple times in a short span of time how long we had been waiting for our table. The menu was also a letdown, not at all like the menus the restaurant had offered in the past. Overall, I would advise others to make sure they have a reservation and to consider dining elsewhere. We ended up leaving before our drinks even arrived.
Service was slow. We were greeted initially 3-4 minutes after sitting by someone we thought would be our server. 10 minutes later we were greeted by someone else who said they were our server. Admittedly we were slow in the deciding because we were on a 2nd date. We ordered the baked brie to begin with, it was not melted or gooey like one would expect. It wasn't particularly warm. We had to ask for water refills. My date ordered her salad with dressing on the side, it came on the salad.
