We only stopped for a coffee having walked down to the beach on the Escalier Monumental but it was lovely. It's right on the beach with sunbeds, parasols etc, and serves delicious looking meals as well as coffee and other drinks. View all feedback.
What Bann B doesn't like about Boukarou Beach:
The owner was so rude, she made us feel completely unwelcome. She told kids off for not wearing T-shirts to go to the toilet to wash their hands before eating!! and then again when they went to the beach from the side not the front entrance. Not our first time here, but the first for 2 years. Fabulous warm welcome from the delightful patron and her (often hilarious) team. I can always find something on the menu I really want, even if I’m not hungry ! Really fresh fish and salads, great burgers, steak tartare all beyond expectations ! Great chef, nothing disappoints. The barman is no slouch with a shaker either !
We popped in for a drink. Got our drink and were ok till we wanted to move out of the blistering sun. Miscommunication followed after which guy serving us huffed and puffed and basically ticked all the ‘how to be ride without even trying’ buttons.
I went there with some friends to inquire about beach beds. Staff was very rude and arrogant; hinting at a possible discount and eventually retracting. They probably don’t need the business (they actually said they would sell out all their spots anyway).
Yet another great year at Boukarou! Only,this year Valeri and her team have surpassed themselves! The food is as good as you will get anywhere on Pampelonne, but much more affordable! Every lunch we had was great fun , and we were so well looked after. With loads of charm added by the amazing Mammy! So worth a visit. A l’année prochaine ! Xx
Emplacement sympa sur la plage du Rayol.Accueil chaleureux.Service agréable mais long, normal c'est toujours bondé !Choix limité le midi et qualité moyenne. J'ai été déçue au global après deux déjeuners dans ce restaurant.
