When visiting Kansas City, find a Minskys! It’s consistently the best pizza. The Raymore location particularly, is friendly and quick!
I love Minsky's and usually enjoy this location without any problems regarding service. However, I find it frustrating when there's a sign on the door stating that large parties need a reservation, yet they do not accept reservations on Friday and Saturday nights. Our group of 10 to 13 typically arrives by 5:30 and gets seated without any issues. Last night, though, we arrived to find the restaurant only about 25% full, yet we were told that the manager wouldn't seat us because they were short-staffed. It’s disheartening. It seems if the manager continues to turn away well-tipping large parties, the staffing issues won't be resolved anytime soon.
