Reviews summary
Java Joe’s is a charming drive‑thru café known for superb, freshly made lattes, creative flavored drinks and excellent pastries—from danishes and muffins to seasonal apple‑cider donuts. Breakfast sandwiches (with turkey‑sausage options) and a loyalty punch card keep regulars returning; service is friendly and waits are usually short. Affordable and dependable, it’s a favorite stop for commuters, campers visiting Pawtuckaway, and anyone who prefers a crafted cup over the big chains.

Java Joe's offers the best coffee in the area, thanks to their home-roasted beans! It's a drive-thru only, and since I don't order food, I can't comment on that. Service: 5/5. View all feedback.
What EJ (Cinny) dislikes about Java Joe's:
I used to be very loyal to the local DD further down the street until a friend told me about this place a year ago. The coffee is significantly better, they actually make me a latte and not just a cup of milk with a splash of coffee in it. The food isgreat too, and it's hard to resist grabbing anything off the menu. The breakfast sandwich is solid. View all feedback.

Limited experience but I was in the area and I haven't had my morning coffee ? yet. Dunkin's is usually swamped so I decided to give Java a try. Glad I did. I had a regular coffee ? and a (seasonal? ???? lemon poppyseed muffin ????. I'm not a fan ofmuffins but selection was limited. Muffin ???? tasted good, was warm and huge. I think I might skip lunch. Wait time reasonable. The staff were wearing facemasks, you don't since it's drive thru only. I recommend a visit. Update: ????Valentine's Day, 2021;I read the interview in the Hippo ???? Press ????? newspaper and decided to stop ???? by. I had the peppermint mocha and aorange ???? chocolate chip muffin ????. Both were good. The chips were melted perfectly, not gooey. I gave the woman my copy ofthe interview. The owners didn't receive a copy and she was pleased to get a copy on Valentine's Day. Update: Sunday morning????, May 2021; In the area, a orange ???? poppyseed crepe with a coffee ?. Both were good. Update: Saturday morning ????, July2021; I was in the area and I got a chocolate doughnut with coffee. Good again! Update: Saturday morning ????, October 2021; Ipurchased a cherry ???? danish with a coffee ?. Good combo.
I can?t eat pork and it?s hard to find small breakfast places that have non pork options for their breakfast sandwiches. Java joes carries turkey sausage and I?m so thankful that I can enjoy a breakfast sandwich without having to go to Dunkin. It?s alittle out of my way to stop here on my way to work but I?ll definitely be back.
A hidden gem! They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I've tried both an iced and hot latte (tiramisu flavor) and both were on point. Flavors aren't overwhelming, they're the perfect amount. Their food is fresh and delicious. I tried abreakfast sandwich, double chocolate muffin, and a donut and was pleased with everything. I highly recommend. And the peopleworking there are friendly. What a great find!

I’ve been coming to Java Joe’s since it first opened, and I continue to enjoy their excellent coffee and welcoming vibe. They’ve had some new staff recently, which is typical for any business. Ordering is straightforward, and although it can get busy, I don’t mind waiting for my favorite drinks. I particularly love their lattes. They also offer a punch card for frequent customers, which is a great bonus. The location is perfect, and I’ve never had any issues here. Food: 5/5.
Java Joe's is a charming little drive-thru coffee shop that we always make a point to visit after camping at Pawtuckaway State Park. Their coffee is delicious, and the pastries are top-notch—my favorite is the danish. The staff is friendly, and the drive-thru wait is usually very short. If you haven’t discovered this gem yet, definitely stop by!
