Lumperhof - Ravensburg

Although the restaurant is a short drive away of the city centre, I think it's definitely worth it. The first time I came I was surprised by the lovely taste of the food and the pretty way it was presented. Since them I went two...more times. Starters are very good, as well as the mains. Sometimes there are seasonal specials and always make sure to do a reservation. The only thing I think they could improve are the desserts. To my mind, they were nicebut not as good as the rest of our dishes. The menu is full of nice wines, so I strobgly have to recomnend this place although the price is higher than usual in ravensburg.

Situated outside of Ravensburg, not easy to be found with GPS, they have a limited menu but with very delicious meals of high quality and a focus on local food. The staff is very friendly and the maitre worked in the Waldhorn in Ravensburg before....Due to the weather I could not check the outside seating. Reservations are recommended.

But the main reason to try Lumperhof is the quality. They serve you the finest version of the local...dishes. And the services is at that high level. If you are in the area, you shouldn't miss it.

Min with the car from the city, excellent food, kind of traditional and on the same time unexpected variations on the menu. I´ve tried something new, very delicious! if you go for it,you will love it, it´s definitely worth the way out of the...city. It also could be a relaxing pause from town.
