Recommended.<br/ A hole in the wall take away cafe/ 'deli ' overlooking the harbour. Celsius fair trade coffee and all the Eco friendly boxes ticked.<br/ <br/ A small range of cabinet stuff but larger list of cooked things in buns, easily prepared in the small kitchen from chilli dogs to venison burgers. <br/ <br/ We sat outside this weekday morning, at one of the two small tables, and eat our very pleasant takeaway BLT and drank a gentle well made coffee.<br/ <br/ A useful little cafe to know about. <br/ <br/
Nicely done team! We enjoyed our visit to your cute little set up on the Welly Waterfront mid week before the madness of Easter weekend struck, and thoroughly enjoyed the location, BLT sammies and Venison Burgers and music! Very happy to pay $7.50 for a nicely made BLT with free range bacon and the most yummy foccacia bread out so thank you. Have informed my Welly crew to check you out (if they haven't already . Relatively well priced and an easy stop gap/ take out type place, clearly very popular with locals and travellers alike. Recommended :
Love the zero waste ethics here! Plenty of options if you didn't bring your own mug, no takeaway mugs here! They make their own dairy free milks too, so no tetra-paks either. Hope to see more cafes taking this kind of responsibility for providing options to reduce waste. All that plus the delicious coffee, beautiful waterfront views and cool DIY vibe make this unique cafe a must-visit.
I'm surprised this cafe has so few reviews. It definitely deserves 5 stars or more!! I had an excellent piccolo with sunflower mylk (no extra charge for that mylk), it was full of flavour, exactly the way I like. The plant-based mylks are organic, cold-pressed, no additives (the usual Tetra Pak ones are mostly water and chemicals, and filling up landfills). So FINALLY a cafe in Wellington promoting health, sustainability, and small local businesses. Plus the perfect location: central but with a view
