Finns Paekakariki

This restaurant is one of those perfect spots that has everything you need while traveling or on vacation. It features a restaurant, a bar, and cozy accommodations upstairs. Right across the street, you'll find a Four Square, a veggie shop, and some cafes, with the beach just a short stroll away for exercise. You can even catch a train into Wellington's CBD. The staff here are fantastic—helpful and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

The rooms are consistently clean and quiet, and the customer service is very friendly. The only drawback is that the parking lot is shared with privately owned apartments, which can make navigation a bit tricky.

I was very disappointed with the unit we stayed in. It wasn't clean, the cups were stained, and the toilet seat was only held on by one screw. The shower door had soap scum on it, and there was no soap provided—just a pump. The place is in urgent need of maintenance. There was also no compendium with the Wi-Fi password or other information. When we checked out, there was no one around to help us, even though we intended to order breakfast. Overall, the cost was too high for the experience we received.

Decent stay, air con not the best so was hot. Staff lovely and helpful with a late check in, but simple things like hair conditioner not there. The service from restaurant to the room was also very slow, but the food was great once arrived.

Stayed for one night. Check in time said 2pm we were greeted with locked doors and no one to check us in. Had to call the number for assistance, others gathered and waited only to be checked in by the CLEANER. She was great. Rooms were alright ok, parking around back was odd.
