Mulligans, nestled inside the Best Western Plus in Raton, NM, offers a mixed experience for diners. While some guests appreciate the attentive service and positive atmosphere, others report issues with food quality and cleanliness. Menu options are somewhat limited, possibly influenced by recent circumstances, and meal preparation can vary, with highlights like chicken tenders and fish and chips juxtaposed against undercooked dishes and unclean tableware. The cleanest and most pleasant restaurant in town. It's the only place in Raton that I've found to be ideal for a quiet date—a truly relaxing spot after a long day of traveling.
I found this place by chance because of a storm and was pleasantly surprised to discover that they make their tortilla chips fresh. The portions were generous, and the fish and chips were...
Great waitress. Friendly and efficient. Food was mediocre. Hamburger was cold and fries limp. Limited menu but Covid may impact that. Lots of food scratched off. Expensive for the quality.
This was truly the best dining spot in town. I had the fish and chips as well as the cowboy steak, and both were delicious and quite filling!
We liked this place the first time we tried it, but the second time we ate here I have Never been more disgusted by a restaurant in my life. I have worked in plenty of restaurants Took my wife here to try something new in town. She ordered a drink and when we got it, the cup had obviously not been cleaned because it had a huge lipstick print on it. When we politely brought it up, the waitress did not seem to care at all or offer any apology in the least. Aside from that, (we hoped at least plates were clean ? our food was undercooked and needless to say we didn’t ask for a to go box. I would make sure to stay FAR away from mulligans. How can you trust them to make good food if they can’t even clean a cup right? Pretty sure we got food poisoning BTW.
