I had the sour roast with red cabbage and found it excellent. the owners, a man and woman, were very friendly and helped me to practice my German for half an hour after closing...time each eating is individually prepared from ground on. also the wine and beer list was excellent for such a small restaurant.
This little restaurant is a little gem. the food is homemade and the hosts are very friendly. be ready for a solid, well-tasting meal and good beer.
They had finished serving main meals but rustled up a simple wurst and frites for us. It was well patronised and is beautfully situated in a village above Bad Schandau.
We had Sour Meat with dumplings. It was great especially if you only 2 times per year in Germany. Reminds me of my Childhood.
I visted the restaurant with a couple of friends. Everything was nice. I would visit it again. And the "Sauerbraten" was delicous!
