We heard great... read more Just had carry out from them 10/23/2022, our first time trying Wah Hing. We have tried most of the Chinese restaurants in North Idaho previously. We heard great things about Wah Hing, and the good reviews are spot on...I think we found our new favoriteChinese restaurant! We will dine in next time, but the carry out was great. We kept it simple just had a family sized sweet 'n sour chicken, a family size chicken fried rice, and some egg drop soup. The chicken they used was high quality, and for thesweet 'n sour chicken, it had a nice golden batter and was not greasy it was cooked perfect. The chicken in the chicken friedrice was generous and the rice was light and fluffy cooked to perfection. The egg drop soup was delicious and couldn 't havebeen better. The staff on the phone was great to speak with and we were treated very well by the staff during pick up everyone there is super nice. Kudos to you, Wah Hing, you 're doing a great job!!!

Where we come from, real Chinese food is abundant and it?s on... read more We moved to Newport recently and saw there was a Chinese restaurant there in town and got excited. Where we come from, real Chinese food is abundant and it?s one of our favorites. It?s safe to say that the Newport one is not real Chinese and was amajor disappointment all around. Some others we have tried in Spokane haven?t panned out very well So when we saw this place, wewere very reluctant but we thought one last try before we give up all together. While it?s not what we are used too, it has comethe closest and it also makes up with its own delicious flavors we haven?t experienced in other places. We absolutely love theclassic Chinese restaurant feel and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The prices are perfect for the amount of food youget, which is plenty for leftovers. We make the 42 minute drive anytime we want Chinese food.

"Gravy for Almond chicken Egg Foo Young was Yellow in color, Not a light Brown, Again had No Taste what so ever! Fried Rice was Dry Tasteless, with only a few small pieces of Dry BBQ Pork inner mixed. Hot Sour Soup was very Sour with mostly Tofu couple gristly thin pieces of tough beef, watered down! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Group size: 2 people
