The service was very good. Some of the food was very little for the price. However, my dish was both tasty and satisfying.

We've been there a total of three times. The first time was on June 1st last year, and it was really very good (9/10). The second time, the food was good, but the service was very, very bad (7/10). Today we were there again, and this time it was the last time. We waited over an hour for our food. Which is okay, but I wonder why? It wasn't really busy. There were four of us: my wife, two children, and my husband. My wife's Aperol was very bad. The wheat beer with cola, which should have been a little cola, unfortunately arrived with a lot of cola, no foam, and only about 80% full. Okay, that happens sometimes. The second beer was ordered without cola but arrived with cola. The children's drinks were good. The schnitzel and cordon bleu were good. The Spätzle, unfortunately, were a complete disaster. No salt, very watery, and tasteless. My wife ordered asparagus schnitzel with parsley potatoes. I'm pretty sure they were from a jar, not seasoned or dressed at all, just bland, unappetizing potatoes. All the side dishes were cold, except for the croquettes, which were fine, but those are deep-fried anyway. For €29, I expect more for an asparagus schnitzel. The service was very slow, they forgot cutlery, didn't clear menus or empty drinks, and it's obvious the staff has little experience. The people who served us were there months ago, so they should have learned by now. It's a real shame. We won't be back. After we mentioned what wasn't good, there was no apology or anything. I recognize you from somewhere; I think you're the owner there. You look very familiar. A 5.5 out of 10 today... very disappointing. I also spoke to someone else who was there, and they had the same opinion. Has the chef changed, or what's going on? Oh, and the appetizer was good, though. But the drinks, service, and side dishes only got a 2 out of 10. Even after we finished, it took 12 minutes before anyone came to check on us. All the best to you…

Our visit is not recommended. We ate at Schützen with friends on March 22, 2025, and were looking forward to some good, traditional German cuisine. Unfortunately, the food was dripping with grease, the frozen schnitzel patties, and the pork medallions were sour and bad. We complained about the pork medallions and received a replacement. Unfortunately, this time the meat was cooked rare, not tender and pink. The schnapps brought on the house as an apology for the bad food unfortunately took it even further: Jägermeister with crumbs and no herbal flavor. What a shame

Good, traditional German cuisine at moderate prices. The service is friendly. In the summer, I find the atmosphere on the bridge very pleasant. Update March 22, 2025 We were looking forward to a good meal, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The schnitzels we ordered were obviously frozen, dripping with grease, and bore no resemblance to freshly prepared dishes. Even worse were the pork medallions: some were undercooked, and one of the pieces had a sour taste – absolutely inedible. We complained about the pork medallions and received a replacement without any problems. Unfortunately, some pieces were still raw (not pink). Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it!
