I went to the Rapid River Pub located at 19481 South Main Street, Rapid River, Michigan. It's a very nice place that has a nice crowd mid week. The service was very good and the waitress working that night never let us run out of anything. I ordered the nachos. The nachos were loaded with all the toppings. What rammamao doesn't like about Rapid River Pub:
Cardboard gravy and below average burgers. I ordered the hot hamburger which is just a burger patty on two slices of Texas toast. Beef Patty lacked flavor and the gravy tasted like literal cardboard. My friend’s fish burger buns were burnt. View all feedback.

Olive burger was absolutely amazing. I can’t get over how delicious the combo of green olives and melted Swiss can be. Everyone was super friendly. They all doted on our 2 year old : In the process of moving to the area and will absolutely be back.

This was one of the more updated bars we stopped at. Nice atmosphere, and I won $100 on a pull tab!
We were up from Wisconsin looking at waterfalls and happened to stumble on this little spot. The menu has plenty of options so it's easy to find something to enjoy. We tried a River Burger on the recommendation of the bar tender and it was a very good burger. Nice and flavorful, well cooked, and hearty. We also had a Ruben with extra kraut. Turns out that this is the only restaurant in all of the Midwest that makes their Ruben with a correct amount of sauerkraut WITHOUT asking for extra! So it was a little kraut heavy but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The bread used for the Ruben is also homemade which is a huge plus. The chefs were friendly and answered a couple of questions for me so that was great too! We also watched a pizza come out and it looked delightful. When we come back there will be more Rubens and probably a pizza in the order.
