This small restaurant is just a 12-minute drive from Mt. Rushmore, and the dining experience was far superior and more affordable than the options available near the monument. on the 7th juli stopped before she went to an attraction an hour. from outside, I was careful. but once in, we were immediately greeted by woman who also tended the bar (do not remember her name petite dame with short black hair.) she was helpful and friendly. we both ordered salates. my man got the taco salad and said it was very good. Dining here is an incredible experience! While we were in Rapid City, we turned to Yelp in search of highly-rated spots, and this place exceeded all our expectations. If you're after a fancy ambiance, this might not be the spot for you, but it offers a cozy, home-like atmosphere with exceptionally friendly staff. The food was outstanding—the Buffalo chicken salad was particularly fantastic! The only downside was the extra chilly temperature inside, but overall, this place is truly a gem. My two daughters, aged 12 and 9, even asked to return, but we had other vacation plans to stick to. I highly recommend it!

What an amazing restaurant! We stayed next door at the Sweet Grass House and enjoyed an evening meal right in front of our bed. It was absolutely delicious! The Shipwreck Burger was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy without being overly salted like at some other places. The breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, and that’s saying something from someone who isn’t usually a fan of breakfast. Everything about this place is wonderful! The staff is friendly, too.

The food here was typical bar and grill food, very good for what it is. Not much to look at from the outside, pleasant inside. Very friendly and efficient service. I had the butterfly shrimp and my wife had the fish and chips. They were good, lots of beer selections.
