South Dakota was an enlightening experience. It's apparent melaninated (brown, bronze, dark brown) persons are a rarity here. The service was good. The cappuccino, add oatmilk, and vanilla had a bold, slightly smoke flavor with an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. View all feedback.
A regular stop on any trip in town. Great flavor and wide selection make Black Hills Blend an easy choice for any quick stop occasion.
My visit to South Dakota was quite eye-opening. It was noticeable that people of color were not very common in the area. The service at the restaurant was satisfactory. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and vanilla, which had a bold, slightly smoky flavor, but unfortunately, it also left an unpleasant bitter aftertaste.
I regret looking behind the curtain of the big coffee industry. As someone who enjoys caffeine but isn’t always in the mood for coffee, I was excited to discover that Black Hills Blend offers a Black Hills Blast energy drink with a wide variety of flavor options. However, I soon uncovered a disappointing reality about these colorful and appealing beverages. While watching them prepare my drink through the window, I was horrified to realize what I was actually paying $5 for. They poured a small amount of Red Bull into the cup, added some syrup, and topped it off with club soda. That was it—just an inch of Red Bull mixed with syrup for five dollars. In conclusion, I recommend heading to Scooters just down the road instead; they use an entire can of Red Bull for the same price.
I haven't tried their food, but the coffee is excellent.
Great coffee, great muffins, 10/10
