What Candy Christmann doesn't like about Jerry’s Tap:
Staff was great. Service was good. Food was horrible. Husband got prime rib and it was all fat, $30 for prime rib for about three bites of meat and the rest fat. I got half rack of a half rack of ribs. My father in law got chopped steak said it was dry. My mother in law got chicken said it ok. The pizzas looked amazing I will say. Kid-friendliness: Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was good. Just the dinner sucked. View all feedback.
Our first time visiting and we will be back. Service was amazing. The wait staff and kitchen all helped each other. I had the ribs, they were tender and delicious. A great appetizer to try is the pretzels and cheese.
Good food and friendly staff and top notch bar/ Restaurant.

After a half day of the kind of outdoor physical hard work that leaves a person dirty, disheveled, and hungry, I needed a quality meal at a place where the clientele and management wouldn't mind my dirty jeans or hat head. I somewhat remembered a tavern restaurant in Ransom from a decade or more ago, and seemed to remember that the food was good back then, so I took a chance and changed my route to find it. I am not at all certain that Jerry's Tap was the place I had been to before, but I'm glad I found it for lunch this week! I arrived around 1:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and was pleased to see a lunch special posted on the chalk board: grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and choice of two more homemade sides, such as broccoli salad, coleslaw, pea salad, potato salad...and it comes with dessert, all for $11.00. I chose the broccoli and pea salads. The front end manager was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and brought my meal in just a few minutes. The chop was bigger than I expected and the salad portions were also generous. It was delicious. The manager told me to save room for dessert, but I had a change of plans. After only two bites of everything, I knew I had to bring this tasty meal home to my partner, so I ordered another to go and saved the rest of mine to enjoy at home. I seldom pass through Ransom, but I'll consider going out of my way next time I'm in the general area. Parking: There were plenty of parking spaces open when I was there at 1:30 in the afternoon.
Congrats on 50th Anniversary. Here's to another 50.??
