Bartender crafted some amazing signature cocktails with care and tastes that complimented the whisky and bourbon they make there.Food service was spot on. Quality and well prepared fresh ingredients made up every dish I ordered. Hats off to Aubrey. A super friendly server who was attentive and suggested the garlic parm dip for the fries. Good call. What Dr Rodrigo Silva doesn't like about Cantilever Distillery Cocktails Tastings:
This place may be good for the locals, but not for tourism. The service is awful, from the hostess to the servers, rudeness and impoliteness all around. We came in and were not seated promptly, although there was nobody else waiting to be seated. We were never told that we should seat ourselves. The server was in a hurry and did not want to explain the dishes or drinks to us, he was too busy taking with a group of loca... View all feedback.
Small menu, but food is great. The atmosphere is fun and high energy.
Great place, super staff I would highly recommend the Cantilever. Very clean, modern facility. Nice location. Note: there is a train track at the rear of the building, and there is some train noise, but nothing that would keep you up.
Nice hotel. Decor unusual and nice rooms kind of dark). No MICROWAVE in the room, but the 3rd floor coffee area had a public one that could be used. No coffee in room, but 3rd floor had coffee area coffee in pitchers. No ice machine, need to go to front desk and ask. People close doors loudly. Awesome upper patio with sauna and hot tub. Trains just about every hour for 10-20 minutes. Not excessively loud but we were at the opposite end of the hotel #315). Our room did not have a bathtub. Not a lot of close dining choices. Restaurant was pricy but smelled great. Clean, good bedding. REFRIGERATOR had a freezer but it was in dire need of defrosting. One ice pack did fit to refreeze. Employees friendly. Friendly town, with no leash law.
My wife and I were excited to try this restaurant with our toddler. We were seated on the patio by the waitress who casually informed us that she was having a bad week and returned back to the bar. She never returned with menus, waters, or anything for that matter. We sat for 25 minutes with a hungry child as we watched her circle our table, stand around aimlessly and serve others that entered the restaurant after us. We couldn’t wait any longer to be simply offered a menu so we took our business elsewhere.I am not one to complain but am perplexed as to why a server would so blatantly ignore her clientele.
We enjoyed the style, vibe of this hotel. The food was excellent. The service was very knowledgeable and hospitable. This was a last minute trip and we were able to book a room easily. Loved the bartender!
