The setting is beautiful outside and the savouries and meals at the Bistro were excellent. The room setup was lovely. The staff were very helpful and table service was excellent. Overall a very enjoyable night.

My sister, dad, his partner and my grandfather went for lunch at this restaurant and were treated so unprofessionally by the staff. My dad ordered garlic prawns... read more My sister, dad, his partner and my grandfather went for lunch at this restaurant and were treated so unprofessionally by the staff. My dad ordered garlic prawns for his partner and when the food came out she was given some squid/prawn/noodle dish instead. When they said that it was the wrong dish the server took it away and came back with the receipt saying they had ordered this other dish. My dad confirmed they had ordered the garlic prawns and it must have been put through incorrectly. Instead of simply apologising for the confusion and getting her the correct dish, the server then went and got their supervisor who came over to table holding the receipt and who then proceeded to make a scene in the middle of the restaurant. The supervisor stated my family was in the wrong and that the chefs refused to make her the garlic prawns. My family then said they wanted a refund and would leave because of this attitude from the staff. At this point my dad walked off because he was fed up with listening to this rude supervisor. I want to make it very clear that this treatment of my family was absolutely unacceptable. Our nan had just passed away and they had spent the day before at her funeral, they then had to put up with this treatment and were frankly emotionally distressed and embarrassed. Good luck getting any repeat customers if this is how you treat them. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
