Description

Nestled downtown near the lake, this cozy Rangeley bakery-café is beloved for high-quality, inventive sandwiches (roast beef, caprese, paninis) and friendly, attentive service. Homemade pastries and hot coffee are offered, though pastry variety and bake consistency can vary and the coffee leans mild. Beer and wine, ample parking off-peak, and careful handling of dietary restrictions broaden its appeal. Some find prices high and refills not discounted, but locals return for the community atmosphere and reliable breakfast and lunch options.

Charming little breakfast spot in town, situated near the lake. They offer delicious homemade pastries along with a variety of other breakfast choices. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Food rating: 5/5.

I really enjoy the roast beef sandwich here. There's a fantastic selection, the ingredients are high quality, and it's the perfect place to grab a bite. Food: 5/5

Real food, in a real bakery, in Rangeley! Short of Bigelow Fields (also Awesome)… the only one around too. Super great folks, with attention to detail. They also take dietary concerns seriously, which is greatly appreciated!Dietary restrictions: Staff is very cautious, aware and willing to make substitutions for dietary allergens.

We had a delicious lunch here. They were out of tortillas, so we didn't get the wraps we originally wanted, but enjoyed the sandwiches very much. All the pastries looked amazing. We'll definitely be back.Staff was friendly and polite. It's nice that they were open on a Sunday before noon since no where else was. They are getting ready to close for the first three weeks of April, like many other places. I understand why they need to do this, but it's unfortunate for residents, although I suppose it's preferable to raising prices to cover the costs of being open without enough business to make it worthwhile.

Soso bakery with less than desirable coffee. They would be much better off with Carrabassett coffee than the weak stuff that they sell if you are looking for a dark roast. The prices are a bit steep too. Maybe I’ll give it a second try someday but I’ll skip the coffee.
