Clodeli - Feedback
Reviews
Was Geoffrey Massot at Clodeli a mag?
The menu is impressive compared to other cafes, offering delicious food with consistently high quality. The service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is not too crowded. The outdoor seating is quite lovely as well. I highly recommend the savory beans toast and the breakfast bowl. I give it two thumbs up! View all feedback.
What aroundtheclockfoodie dislikes about Clodeli:
This is a deli serving meats and other products to go as well as pre made food like falafel wraps, lasagne, filo quiche, muffins and coffees. There's heaps of space to eat in or outside. I got a berry and muesli muffin which was nice and had just been freshly baked. I also got a sunrise juice; ice, passionfruit, orange, lemon and mint. Fresh and delicious. View all feedback.

The new Clodeli is pretty bewildering. Limited menu with none of our old favourites (little breakfast, vegetarian Mediterranean breakfast). Went for lunch on a Friday, seriously slow service. The limited choices were very tasty, but a reluctant choice in future.
Disappointing. The old 'Clo-deli' was a million times better. Would not even bother going back there now. It's lost its local attitude. Overpriced and trying to be 'craft' with food, drinks etc. Definitely lost its welcoming & comfort feeling. I felt children are just a hassle and if you're only having an afternoon coffee I get the vibe they want you to drink and depart (even when there's many empty tables ). Staff need a different approach. So much competition with cafes in Clovelly, I would recommend visit others before here.
We had been waiting for the 'new' Clodeli to open for quite some time whilst under renovation. The new look is lovely - bright and fresh and the staff very friendly and efficient. Our breakfasts were lovely and there was plenty of choice on the menu so we will 'be back' :-) :-)
Everyone's right about this place ... good atmosphere, great coffee and food. So, it was with horror that I saw last week that it was closed. I hope this is temporary because I looked forward to eating there on this visit ... and wasn't able to. Better luck next time!
The new Clodeli has received mixed reviews from customers, with some praising the delicious food and coffee, as well as the friendly staff. The limited menu options and slow service were points of contention for others. Despite these mixed reviews, the deli offers a lovely atmosphere and a bright, fresh new look. Whether it's a morning coffee or a Sunday brunch, Clodeli has something to offer for everyone.

Have been away on holiday for a few months. Friends told me Clodeli has got a new friendly owner who is doing a good job. My visit today with my kids proved it. We were greeted by friendly staff after sitting down. Obviously they have got more choices such as baguette rolls and more light healthy salads. Also my little enjoyed the new toys at the kids section. The meals and drinks are of high standard.Well done Clodeli!!! We will keep coming back.
Had breakfast with couple of friends last week. It is under new management but the new owners are very friendly. The staff is very attentive and kept on checking on us to see if everything is ok. The fruit salad is very fresh. My 10 year old loved their berry smoothy, it was made with fresh (not frozen) berries.
It is part cafe part delicatessen. It has such nice staff, it has such nice food and it has such nice cupcakes which you really need to avoid your fab little offspring from seeing as it is very difficult for them to eat anything else that is wholesome, like breakfast, until they get one! I really wanted to take a photo of the cake cabinet so you could see the very nice cupcakes BUT there were so many grimey finger and slobber marks over it from the fab little ones who drool over said cupcakes! (I think the little bulls drooled over it several times during breakfast so I'm kinda to blame for that apologies to the owners). Back to breakfast it is yum, su

A breakfast favourite of mine is Clodeli, situated on Clovelly Road in yes you guessed it…the suburb of Clovelly. Hard to miss this place on the weekend as the mornings are jam-packed with families, friends, fashionistas and locals. Of course the outside seating is the best on a warm day but you may have to wait a little longer if none are available. The three of us grabbed a seat on the longer communal table outdoors, which suited us fine as the sun was directly on us and nothing beats a pre-beach tanning session. So the food is um….pretty amazeballs! Above we have the corn fritters topped with tomato salsa, a wasabi sour cream on the side and a poached egg. You then have a choice of either smoked salmon or bacon. Friend number 1 went with the salmon, which is normally my exact breakfast pick. We went on an extremely busy morning; with the food taking a while to come out…but
