What User doesn't like about Five Pillars Supper Club:
the terrible 5th year here. I write this review five years too late, but I have seen the other reviews (one before, where I did not know) and obviously it has not changed since I went there on my annual day. I had made reservations in advance so that we did not have to wait, and when we arrived we were locked (it only has to have opened for the night), we were placed on a table of bar when there were many other tabel... Enjoy a few well made cocktails on the bar when it is open at 4:30 o'clock and appreciates a very good meal on a Tuesday night. a waitress has service for.
It is time that I write reviews about restaurants in our new stomping floor. five of the Member States are very close to where we live now, and we finally are.
This restaurant used to be excellent a year ago, with delicious and consistent food. However, in the last six months, the quality has declined significantly. The same dish ordered weekly is cooked differently each time. Asking for medium rare may result in well done one week and raw the next. Recently, there have been long wait times of over an hour, with orders not being accepted until 7:00. It's disappointing to see the decline in quality, so it's best to save your money and dine elsewhere.
It's usually good to eat, but not tonight. tenderloin ordered as medium rare and ended with well made and carburized. salad had no green in it. a.
I have dined at this restaurant several times, hoping that the food would be as good as it was during one of my first visits a few years ago. Unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. The baked cod was overcooked, and the burgers were either burnt or undercooked. Yesterday evening, we ordered dinner for a special celebration and waited for an hour, but decided to wait it out. When we finally received our food at home, the burger and bacon were burnt. We returned it and asked for a medium rare, but it came back still undercooked. At that point, I realized that they had made a mistake. I called and spoke to Mary, the owner, who said that the burger continues to cook in the polyfoam container. After owning the restaurant for over 22 years, one would think that cooking a medium rare burger would be a simple task, but apparently not. They need a skilled cook and a thermometer to ensure consistency. I'm not sure who is cooking or why the quality of the food is so inconsistent, but I would recommend taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a enjoyable dining experience.
