The atmosphere was comfortable, casual, and perfect for families. Overall, we had a great time with good food and pleasant conversation.

My mother grew up in the house across the street, where I spent time with my grandparents un... read more I visited Kelly's for lunch and ordered a burger while reminiscing. My mother grew up in the house across the street, where I spent time with my grandparents until the early 1980s. I was just a baby when Kelly was still around, so returning to the area brought back a flood of memories. My grandparents and mother have since passed away and are laid to rest at Randolph Cemetery, which I visited before heading to Kelly's. The staff remembered my family, who lived near Highway 73 years ago. Although my grandfather’s forge and the house itself are no longer standing, Dean and Lillian still have fond memories of Kelly's. If you stop by, be sure to ask about the family that left Madison in the 1930s and settled across the street. My grandmother used to bake and share treats with those wonderful neighbors.
