Bashi - Rancho Palos Verdes

We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening with a reservation and enjoyed sitting outside, which offered breathtaking views. The service was excellent, and the food was delectable. They had a Wednesday special featuring $0.99 sushi rolls, which we decided to try, and they were tasty. We also ordered fresh tuna and salmon pan-seared dishes, as well as a garlic noodle dish, all of which were delightful.

I had the best ramen I've ever tasted, featuring a delicious 24-hour heart broth and tender sous-vide turkey breasts that were cooked for 8 hours. To my surprise, the ramen was prepared by an American chef rather than a Japanese one. The dish included sous-vide turkey breasts, a soft poached egg, menma (bamboo shoots), shiitake mushrooms, scallions, and nori. The restaurant has a spacious atmosphere, and the waitress was not only professional but also very friendly.

Everything here was delicious and fresh. We had the triple roll, which was incredibly fresh and tasty, the garlic noodles that were a must-try, and the sea bass that was bursting with flavor. The quality of the fish in the roll was fresh and top-notch. The garlic noodles were absolutely amazing—I could eat an entire serving by myself. When you combine the noodles with the sea bass, you enter a realm of culinary delight. And the fog pudding? It was out of this world—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, but packed with flavor. I highly recommend this place; it deserves a solid 10/10!

We had my husband’s 70th birthday dinner at Bashi- what a treat! The food was delicious! The dishes are served family style, so with the assist of our server, we selected a delicious assortment. We stayed with sushi and sashimi. Then our main dishes were garlic noodles, crispy sea bass and Crispy Walnut shrimp. I’d recommend all of these again! We had a very nice outdoor table on a full moon night. Even in November this was a good choice as they had outdoor heaters available. Thanks for helping make our celebration so delicious and enjoyable!
