What Colt Emily doesn't like about Mr. Baker Finest Bakery Cafe:
I got food poisoning here from eating the strawberry croissants last week, was the first thing I ate in the day and was throwing up since noon. Also a man outside the door was being very creepy to my wife, I can't imagine what these poor girls go through. Why is it only younger women who work here this place just gives some uneasy vibes. Workers were really nice tho, especially the girl with the dyed hair View all feedback.
Coffee and pastries were good, place was dirty; food remains on tables and floors
I love a dessert place where the desserts aren't too sweet but still satisfying and yummy!! I love coming here for a small treat! My only complaint is that the whipped cream kind of goes a bit funny from being on display all day. (Which happens at most places and isn't Mr Baker specific)
If you're looking for a bakery in Rancho Cucamonga with delightful treats and a welcoming atmosphere, Mr. Baker on Foothill Blvd is a must visit. The friendly staff creates a positive vibe that makes you feel right at home. Plus, parking is never a hassle. Their cakes are a feast for the eyes beautifully decorated and even more delicious. They might just have the best tiramisu in the area, and their cookie selection is incredible. But don't miss the croissant pair it with a cookie for a truly unforgettable treat! I highly recommend Mr. Baker for anyone looking for a delightful bakery experience.
The only thing I like here, out of all the pastries and cakes I've tried, is the ham cheese croissant. Thankfully, I've had lovely experiences with staff. They're efficient and always on top of things to the best of their ability. I watched an employee clear out their workspace of what I can only assume was expired milk from the apparent chunkiness as they poured it, only for them to be scolded by customers for not working fast enough and having spoiled product. Safe to say, their food concerns me overall, the food is mediocre if you're lucky, but at least staff is nice.
Never been here before but was staying nearby in RC. Based on reviews, I met up with a friend for coffee and pastries this past Saturday where there was a fun-looking street fair going on. My latte with almond milk was perfect and the strawberry croissant super yummy. My friend had hot chocolate and a blueberry scone. I bought a box of pastries to take to friends later and it was kind of pricey (about $25 for about 8 pastries) but hey, you only live once, right? Would definitely stop here again when visiting the area. My friend liked this place well enough to meet up with another friend of his the next day!
