Attentive service and great food. Omakase was excellent. Surpassed my expectations. Tokyo style ramen was a hit. Sushi Deluxe was a collection of all my husband's favorite. Definitely will come back again. Omakase needs to be pre-ordered for a busy night or weekend but was worth it. Menu is pretty extensive. Main rolls were my daughter's favorite, which had lobster in it. View all feedback.
What doesn't like about Tawara:
What an awful experience we went to eat tonight our server was rude, dismissive and extremely cavalier about how upset we were about our experience. We voiced how disappointing it was and didn’t even get an apology! We must’ve been seated in the time out table because literally no one payed attention to us at all. Cute small Asian mart. Some things are unique to this store but many can be found at bigger Asian markets. Glad we stopped by though.
One of my favorite stops when I'm in town. Their ready-made food is great, but their baked goods are the best.

After returning to the states from living in japan for 6 years, this little place was like a blast from the past! EVERYTHING from the music to the coffee to the chu hair’s reminded me of Japan!
The best place in the area for hard to access/find Japanese treats and cooking supplies, and other goodies! It is always very clean and organized. They always have freshly prepared food to grab and go.
