Reviews - The Ramer Cafe
Reviews summary
Nestled in small‑town Alabama, this bustling neighborhood café is beloved for home‑cooked Southern classics—crispy fries, catfish, coleslaw and banana pudding—served in a cozy, grandma‑house atmosphere where staff greet regulars by name. Clean dining and kitchen areas, reasonable prices and biker‑friendly parking bolster its appeal. While hospitality is generally warm, occasional lapses in service and rare food‑quality issues have been reported. Overall, a comforting, affordable stop for locals and travelers seeking authentic Southern comfort food.

Stopped in for lunch and seen why the parking lot is always full. The finest of home cooked southern cuisine. Friendly staff extremely clean dining and kitchen area. Priced right and you'll live alot longer eating here versus processed fast food drivethru hell holes. We're losing this America the experience of the neighborhood Cafe the dining experience of eating with yourneighbors and your waitress. We're not moving forward by pressing a screen for a combo meal.
The young girl that took our order is a sweetheart can't say that about the other staff.. The restaurant was clean. The food was okay.
It was pleasant, though I wouldn't say it was exceptional. The cafe has a charming, cozy atmosphere and the hospitality is excellent. The staff are all incredibly friendly.
Everything was excellent great, from the service to the food! Small place, but clean.

Fed up with rude service. Served me sour tea and then told me nothing was wrong with my food. The cheese tasted like mildew.I've had it plenty of times before, the cheese is rancid this time.I'll come back when Kim doesn't go out of her way to ignore issues and run off when customers need something small, pretending she doesn't hear them.
I love discovering hidden gems off the beaten path, and The Ramer Cafe is one you should not miss. I had the catfish, coleslaw, baked beans, and banana pudding, and everything was incredible. The service was warm and friendly, and the staff embodied that quintessential Southern charm you'd expect from a small-town cafe. The atmosphere felt as inviting as being at my grandma's house. If I ever find myself back in that part of Alabama, I will certainly make a stop to eat there again. Thank you, ladies!
The hours of operation should be confirmed again. As for parking, there is an open area available in front of the restaurant.
