Just visiting the Raleigh, NC area for a class, Stromboli's Express is just around the corner, so of course it makes a very easy lunch option. One just cannot beat their lunch specials, a salad, hot fresh bread, 2 slices of pizza, and a drink, all for $10!? I'm hooked, will have lunch there every day of my class. Good food, good atmosphere, and good price! View all feedback.

This was our first time here and the food was decent. We ordered calamari for appetizer and that came out pretty fast which is good. They were lightly fried and looked good but they seemed fishy to me. We also ordered the vegetarian pizza and that had a good taste just a little soggy. Overall it was good. Five stars for a great balance of affordability, quality of value. It is not about the super fantasy experience (only against order), but it is also not a dive, with very nice and clean decor, which screams a taste of local and authentic. The service is always friendly, helpful attentive. It seems as if they actually care if you have a good experience and that the food is delicious. It is recommended to get the full fresh taste. Would be good for Casual Business Meetings, PTA Group Dining Room, Casual Date Night, etc. The sauce is really delicious, fresh made yes affordable. Price points are about $10-$15 for pastas; about $9-$20 for pizzas. This is actually cheaper than Olive Garden much better quality.
Everything is definitely cooked with care and love. This is my restaurant Go-to Pasta. They advertise as a gourmet pasta facility (folks, it won't look like when you go, but)... it's absolutely fantastic. One of her chefs could be a Michelin Starred boss. There's nothing on the menu for which I might complain.
A chicken parm sandwich and a LARGE 16 cheese pizza ordered. It came an hour and fifty minutes later and luke warm. Okay, maybe they've secured, I can handle it. Then I opened the pizza (see picture, this is a LARGE 16 box safe, but the pizza is 13 . I ordered from them before, always tipped my driver, paid their delivery fee, but that is too much. This will be a no of me in the future.
This was my first time in this facility. The service was good and the food delicious. I am from the NY/NJ area a very picky with my pizza and Italian food. I have the pear salad and a pepperoni and cheese Stromboli.
I live Italian food and missing NY style foodies. Found this gem out of nowhere while driving. Why I never heard of his place since being in this city for 5 yrs? Not the best atmosphere but who cares if the food is fantastic? Best restaurants carry the best sauce. This is one of them. Stromboli is their specialty and so delish! Daughter got checkin parm and was good too. I wanna go back tonight.
