Square Burger - Raleigh
Square Burger
Description
Square Burger offers a diverse menu featuring burgers, hot dogs, shakes, and fries, appealing to families and casual diners. While some patrons praised the delicious crinkle fries, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere, others found the burgers lacking in quality and value, likening them to overpriced cafeteria fare. Experience seems to vary widely; while many enjoyed their meals and the outdoor seating, others struggled with the portion sizes and overall taste. Ultimately, Square Burger remains a viable option for quick bites in the area, though it may not meet everyone's expectations for gourmet burgers.

I wish I had taken pictures, but we were too hungry! I'm so glad I finally chose to eat here. The menu includes burgers, shakes, hot dogs, and fries, all at great and affordable prices. The fries were delicious! I ordered a hot dog fully loaded, and I can't believe how full I felt after just one! My kids really enjoyed their kid-sized burgers too. They use potato bread, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the older gentleman working there was very friendly and attentive. We received fast service, good prices, quality food, and comfortable seating.
I just took a group of four to this restaurant after visiting the Marble Museum, and we had a fantastic experience! The Carolina burgers were delicious, the crinkle fries were perfect, and the drinks were great. The outdoor seating was a nice touch, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be coming back!
I was visiting the area and wanted to see if Square Burger served square burgers, so I paid $6.50 for one. The burger had one small patty with a slice of American cheese, two pickles and a couple leaves of lettuce, and supposedly some sauce that may have been hiding under the patty, served on the smallest bun you can imagine. (The patty was indeed square. I tore the burger in half and split it with my brother. We downed our portions in two bites. Some reviews here rave about these burgers and compare them to Wendy's, but I don't get it. Maybe the burger bar is lower than where I live. So I would say that even if you have to walk to the nearest Wendy's (which is not really too far , you will get a better burger for the same price. I gave two stars because if you really need to find food Raleigh, this place exists.
It tastes like cafeteria-style hamburgers/fries. The burgers even come in these clear, plastic containers that you would normally see holding stale desserts at your local buffet. The menu is pricey for what it is, too. I'll give two stars because the people that work there were very nice.
