Sopranos is a family run, authentic Italian place. Other reviewers have complained about price but this is a fresh Italian restaurant and I personally believe the prices (including the mandatory gratuity) are more than reasonable. Excellent service and every meal we've had has been better than the last!
This is the only Italian restaurant I want to eat at when I'm in North Carolina! Upon entering, I immediately felt at home. The owner and his parents provided exceptional service. My family and I celebrated my niece's 17th birthday there, and it was unforgettable. The white sangria was fantastic! The food was generous in portion size and made from scratch, just like in Italy. I've never been to an Italian restaurant that ticked off every item on my list until I dined here. I will definitely return with my wife so she can experience what I did.
They have a wide variety of excellent food. It is well prepared, presented, and has excellent taste. The restaurant is small, but it is quiet with pleasant music playing in the background. They have wine and some beer in bottles and on tap, as well as soft drinks and tea. The staff was pleasant and attentive, which made for a very pleasant time for all. Everyone was happy with the food, and location. We will return.
Absolutely amazing! I’ve been here for the 10th time, and it never disappoints! This family-run establishment serves fantastic, authentic Italian cuisine. Every visit has been excellent!
The dining room is pleasantly quiet, with minimal background chatter that's almost completely drowned out by the soothing piano sonatas playing throughout. This creates what I consider the perfect dining atmosphere. It only enhances the experience to sip on a glass of wine while enjoying one of their many appetizers; after all, this is a place meant for enjoying time with family and friends. Who doesn’t love variety? I certainly do, and I was happy to find a 'Tour of Italy' entrée on the menu, allowing me to sample three of their signature dishes all at once. Regardless, I would suggest trying something saucy and making good use of the fresh basket of bread. I've always been a fan of quality, homemade marinara sauce. While not all sauces stand out, this one certainly did. It's clear that the kitchen is filled with a passion for food. I was pleasantly surprised when the chef came out to visit our table—not only to personalize our meal but also to check back on how everything was. Now, onto dessert: a delicious, homemade tiramisu sealed the deal! It was light, fluffy, and adorned with freshly grated chocolate. I will definitely be coming back. Cheers!
