I recently dined at So Ca for the third time and was pleasantly surprised to find that they now offer a vegan menu in addition to their existing vegetarian options. I tried the cauliflower steak with sweet potatoes and pickled cabbage, drizzled with a delicious chimichurri sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious and I cleaned my plate! Although there was a small mix-up with a special dessert request for my birthday, the pastry chef was able to create a tasty alternative on the spot. The staff at So Ca has always been incredibly accommodating, especially during my first visit when there wasn't a vegan menu available. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Lots of options, and very knowledgeable staff. I mean really!! They know what they are talking about. Ask for separate vegan menu. I’d recommend the black bean fritter cakes and the cauliflower stake (names different on the menu lol, but i forgot them). Also, Tuesday is half of bottles of wine! They even have 2 vegan dessert options (just ask the waitstaff).
Food was outstanding and the service was exceptional.
