Description

Provenance is a restaurant that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have praised the food, atmosphere, and service, others have found the portions small and unimpressive. However, those who have had a positive experience have commended the restaurant for its excellent food featuring local ingredients and the friendly staff. The seafood boil has been highlighted as a standout dish, while others have mentioned enjoying the bread basket, heirloom tomato salad, and various entrees. Overall, it seems that Provenance has its ups and downs, but those who have had a good experience are quick to recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful dining experience at a restaurant in Downtown Raleigh. The food was outstanding, especially the special appetizer which was a pierogi dish with basil. The atmosphere was great and our server provided excellent service. We brought our 1 year old with us and felt that the restaurant was somewhat child-friendly. Although the brunch menu for children was a bit misleading, our server was helpful in providing a tray for changing our child's diaper as there was no changing table in the bathroom. We arrived early and the staff were very accommodating. Our child enjoyed the meal as much as we did, but we had to leave once he became bored. Despite his attempts at talking, we likely received some disapproving looks from other diners. Such is the life of a parent.

It was wonderful to have choices for both vegans and non-vegans at this restaurant. The staff was attentive and helpful.

During my short stay in Raleigh, I made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant through Open Table. The staff seemed surprised by the timing, but they handled it very well. The service was outstanding and friendly. Our group of 4 was impressed by the delicious food and beautiful presentation. The only downside was the lack of music, which made it feel like we were dining in a quiet cafeteria.

Yum! Had the cheese board, mushroom risotto plate, and ny strip. All local, all delicious. Eat here!
