I completely forgot to snap a photo before I finished my meal! I ordered the fried chicken, and it was served hot, fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious. The fried okra was just as tasty and fresh. The rice and gravy were fantastic as well. Since it was Mother's Day, the atmosphere was lively and wonderful. Our waitress was sweet and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Love this place!! Food always good. But today I was highly disappointed that they have stopped Doing curbside take out!!! Please bring back curbside orders! This service not only was great because of pandemic, but also for handicapped patrons who are limited and can’t walk far distances!! View all feedback.
Previously lived in Raleigh area after Military Retirement Best Cafeteria Restaurant ever.

A good time! If or shall I say when you Goggle a great place to eat and the D S Cafeteria comes up, GO!This was my first time, I went shopping after my appointment and after the third store I was hungry.I didn't realize the last store was in front of D S Cafeteria, BINGO!Full service in door dining and take out.I had pork chops (you get two) mac cheese, cabbage and sweet potatoes 4 ???.I will be returning. Go!
