Centro offers a unique blend of upscale Mexican dining with a vibrant atmosphere. Diners rave about the exceptional flavors, particularly praising the Chicken Mole, steak, and salmon tacos, alongside crispy chips and well-seasoned guacamole. The house margaritas and innovative cocktails made with fresh ingredients also receive acclaim. While the service is generally friendly and professional, some guests noted issues with reservation clarity and menu discrepancies between dining experiences. Overall, Centro remains a popular choice for quality cuisine, making it a fitting destination for both casual lunches and special occasions, despite minor inconsistencies in dining experiences.
It was okay. I think that's more lunch than dinner. we were downstairs, not very impressed. the menu was quite small. we had queso as an appetizer and it was extremely liquidated. the tacos were in order. the house margarita was in order. the staff was very friendly! this is two places in one, above is completely different atmosphere and menu.
We were the first party here at the opening with a reservation (5pm, party for 2.) we sat under the stairs. the food is mol poblano was in order, the house margarita was in order. the personal is exceptional
I visited Centro years ago and was curious to see how it had held up over time. To my delight, Centro has stood the test of time. Our server was friendly and accommodating. We tried their mole dish, which was my second time trying mole. I found the strong nutty sweetness of their mole to be far better than my previous experience in Cary. The chips and guacamole were tasty. Both the Del Sur Tacos and Fish Tacos were excellent, with vibrant toppings that made each taco delicious. The house margarita was good. The atmosphere was family-friendly on a weeknight. My only complaint is that it was quite cold inside when we were there from 6-7pm.
Really cool Mexican restaurant with a twist. Service was fantastic and they really bragged on the owner who seems to treat the staff well. The food was great. There's a really cool outdoor seating area in the back that feels like a little rainforest.
Stopped here with 2 friends for some brunch which was fantastic! I had a steak burrito and coffee which was delicious and just what i needed. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful sunshiny day. Ordering and paying was easy breazy online. Food came outquickly. Several people came to check on us. We all enjoyed our meals and relaxing for a bit.
