Evergreen Tavern - Rainier
Evergreen Tavern
Description
In recent visits to a local restaurant and bar, patrons have experienced a striking contrast in service and atmosphere. While some encounters featured commendable staff kindness and exceptional food, other guests faced frustrating rudeness and slow service, highlighting a concerning inconsistency. Beautifully crafted drinks and delicious dishes won praise, with one standout recommendation being the double cheeseburger and fries. Yet, technical mishaps overshadowed others’ experiences, leading to disappointment and discomfort. The restaurant’s vibrant ambiance, coupled with the potential of friendly staff, suggests significant promise. However, improving service efficiency and customer interaction remains critical for enhancing the overall dining experience.

I visited this restaurant for the food, music, and atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. As for parking, there’s street parking available on Front Street, but it tends to get quite busy during peak hours. There's also additional parking available in the lot behind the restaurant. I'm not certain about the back entrance to the tavern, though.
The bartender was rude and mentioned that she was closing because there were only about five people at the bar, implying she just wanted to hang out. This was at 12:30 AM. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since I was looking for a fun night out while sober. Her attitude was very off-putting.
Ordered tater tots and mozzarella sticks served with cocktail sauce apparently). Drinks were made improper. Besides the beer in a bottle. Ordered a vodka cranberry, tasted water down), ordered a Washington apple made w vodka, crown apple, cranberry and melon liquor) all together my stomach is hurting from it and the other people I went with. Also, tater tots and mozzarella sticks were brought to us in no less than 2 minutes. Awful.
