interesting location, good presentation of dishes, friendly staff. Good octopus to bbq. perfect also for the space of the tables, which I love to be able to speak in serenity with friends. We'll be back View all feedback.

Ok restuarant, we visited this place for lunch on a Saturday. Service was very good, however food was average to what you would find around it however very expensive ... over rated and over priced ... not impressed View all feedback.
I have been tonight, 30 July 2021 In first place, I highlight that they applied all rules about face mask and distances (of course you can remove mask when eating, but all staff was wearing mask), hand sanitizer was available The place itself is very elegant, clean and impeccable. It deserves few pics It is on a first flooor with a glass wall all the lenght of the restaurant From the glass wall you can see the Cattedrale di San Giovanni Battista (main church) and Via Roma below (the street where people stroll around in the evening) The kitchen is visible, on one end of the restaurant, so you see the staff preparing your food. I was not hungry so I had just a fish caponata (see the web for caponata , it 's to long to explain) and then a sword fish with salad They were both delicious Even the basket with bread was fine, there was a choice of small fresh local breads, including berad sticks. There is a rich list of wines, but I was in the mood for a beer so I picked a local lager one, very tasty and thick. All staff was very welcoming, professional and helpful I recommend it for a nice evening out in Ragusa.
We had not intended to come here but did as it was the only place that had availability at the last moment! We were seated right in front of the kitchen and are we happy we did end up there. Quite an experience and we were spoilt too! Fantastic amd exsquisite fish dinner, accompanied by nobile local wine. Fish was fresh, we had it all in front of us! And given my food intollerances, the chef prepared special dishes for me that were out of this world! When we return to Ragusa (and we will! we will definitely go back!

1, friday afternoon we called for reservation for dinner the same day, but it's full. so we make it on saturday. but saturday was quite empty. 2, my friend had a pasta with vongola pistachio sauce, very good. i had a pasta with seppia, it's good, the seppia mixed with pasta are cooked, the one on the top are nearly raw. i asked if they could heat the seppia a bit, waiter came back and said the chef said he can't, it would damage the food. it's ok, i do appreciate he sticks with his principles. 3, nice ambiance, food came slow, a bit pricey. my friend enjoys a lot, best dish he had during the journey. myself less, but it's due to personal preference.
I would go back here 100% just for the tuna tartare. We started with it and it was INCREDIBLE olive oil, small pieces of tomato, green onion, and garlic, and well seasoned served with a warm variety of soft rolls. Perfectly chilled never had an Italian style tuna tartare so I was definitely impressed. We had two pastas the clams with pesto which was very tasty the pesto was delicious but unfortunately the clams weren’t cleaned properly so every other bite was gritty. Second dish was a classic Sicilian sardine with spaghetti and bread crumbs which was very good but fishy (it’s sardines so it’s supposed to be). The bread crumbs added a nice crunch to it but after eating a plate full of sand from the clams I couldn’t appreciate the texture as much. Flavorful though. We also ate at 7:30 on a Saturday and the entire restaurant was empty evidently the norm in Ragusa is to start dinner at 9pm at the earliest. Wine was ok but expensive.
