I had lunch here back in March and it was really good. The fish was very fresh and perfectly battered and cooked, and the chips were likewise excellent. I was very hungry so ordered 2 fish expecting to get 2 pieces, but I got 4 good pieces (two SERVES I guess) and had trouble finishing it all. All ready in 15 minutes as promised. There is public seating including a table on the footpath right outside if you don't want to walk to the beach. I'm very surprised by the negative reviews here not my experience at all.
Had takeaways- Gurnard, beer battered kumera chips pineapple fritters. Very yummy,! Fast efficient polite service. Highly recommend- the best in Raglan currently
We recently visitied this place. We have not tried this local fish n chips shop before, so thought we give it a go. Food quality was excellent! Fish was tasty and fresh, chips were crispy and plentiful. Conveniently located in town. Comfortably our new favorite takeaway shop in Raglan. Highly recommend this store, we will be back!
The wait was kinda long but worth it! Best fish and chips I have ever had. Defs reccomend getting the beer battered chips!! Awesome place if you want to have fish and chip on the beach!
