It came with lettuce, avocado,... read more I was craving a salad and after looking at menus from restaurants in the area, I picked Iso Bistro to try their Green Vege Salad. It came with lettuce, avocado, couscous and a vegan mayo dressing. It was delicious and completely satisfied my craving. The mayo has a citrus note to it, which provides the acidity needed for the avocado. The couscous was cooked perfectly. I have no complaints. I always like to end on a sweet note and the lemon tart was calling my name. It was divine! The crust was buttery, the curd was silky, and the lemon packed a punch. It took some willpower to stop myself devouring it, but I also wanted to savor every bite. The atmosphere has a date night vibe, but you can still wear casual clothes and it would be fine. Service was friendly and I never had to ask for my water to be refilled. I do suggest making a booking. I was a walk-in requesting a table for one and luckily the lounge area had a small table enough to fit one plate and two glasses.

We kicked things off with cocktails: a French Martini, a Tropical Surf, and a virgin Piña Colada. They were enjoyable but not particularly memorable. I remember having the best Bloody Mary of my life here before; maybe I should have ordered that again. I highly recommend trying it! For our mains, we were pleased with what arrived. The tuna steak was exceptional—perfectly seared, beautifully presented, and a generous portion. The mushroom and ricotta ravioli was served as a main dish, which was a decent size. It could have used a sauce and felt a bit oily, but the flavors were still vibrant. Our other dish was the special: spaghetti Bolognese with truffle and Parmesan. While the flavor was nice, the meat was somewhat lumpy, and the truffle cream sauce seemed a bit excessive. Overall, it was okay. As for drinks, the additional gin and tonic had a strange taste—more like soda water than tonic—but we were reassured it was indeed tonic. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I loved the wood burner in the main dining area—it really added to the ambiance. The place was busy, vibrant, and cozy on a wet, windy night. I will absolutely return, and if he behaves, I might even bring the Favorite Husband along next time!

The talented musicians created a fantastic ambience for our evening. The prices are medium to high, but you're definitely getting your money's worth—the service, food presentation, and flavors are outstanding. The cozy wood fire, soft lighting, and great music wrap the entire experience in warmth and satisfaction. We will certainly return in the future! The restaurant offers convenient facilities such as restrooms, outdoor and indoor seating, a lounge area, wheelchair access, and options for group bookings, all complemented by live music on weekends. While reservations are recommended, walk-ins are also welcome—just keep in mind that it can get busy during peak times, and there’s a good reason for that!
