We liked the a... read more We ended up in Raesfeld quite spontaneously, unfortunately very hungry. A table just became available outside in the beer garden and we sat down. We liked the ambience and it smelled like delicious food. So we wanted to order both food and drinks, but were initially ignored. Whenever we tried to wave someone over, they looked away. Only the beer garden was attended, there were only two or three people eating inside. At some point, after a very long wait, a friendly waiter came and asked if we were already being served. Grateful that someone finally came, we asked for the card. We had to wait a few minutes for this too. We could then order drinks, which also took time to arrive. We then had to wait quite a long time for our food. It was slowly getting cold outside. Salad came, but without cutlery. And it took another time to bring it. Overall, we waited a very long time. The food was okay. The gyros tasted good. A piece of meat on the grill plate, both mine and my husband's, was undercooked. The piece of beef was absolutely cooked and dry. Unfortunately the meat was missing at least a pinch of salt. Fries were good. Tzatziki was very tasty. I found the Kritaraki (rice noodles) very tasty. I will definitely buy one for home. I think although it wasn't packed, the service was a bit overwhelmed and it seemed a bit disorganized. But these are all points that can definitely be remedied quickly. And maybe it just wasn't a good day to eat there. Finally, there are also a lot of positive reviews.
