we had ordered for 16:00 and made it only 16:30:00 due to the traffic situation. we had no longer expected, but we were now striving to do everything. overall very friendly service. delicious cake, loose, high quality tea - all very nice. thank you! View all feedback.
What Olga Schmitz doesn't like about Atelier Sanssouci:
it is so unfortunately pretentious as the name suggests and overprices. I know the Michelin star. but it is a star in thin air. my gazpacho consists of two table spoons that have over some sweet soups. not bad, but nothing. special main course was a reconsidered piece of white fish that disintegrate on the plate, with very little otherwise. I didn't finish my whisper, a strange ice cream. this was € 80, including a b... View all feedback.
If they are looking for a beautiful, well-designed atmosphere and elegant space, they do not see further. we had a wonderful à la carte breakfast. service was excellent. great location near the weinberge so hikes and several wineries and restaurants in easy to walk.
We are comparing here with Michelin star restaurants in Netherlands and Germany. This is quite possibly the best restaurant we've ever eaten at! While staying at Villa Sorgenfrei, and eating everything on the week's menu at Sans Soucis, on our third night the chef made...a special meal for us. First course kalf's tartaar with quail egg, tarragon and caviar; second course giant shrimp with passion fruit sauce and chervil; third course pork with celery, apple in yuzu, bloodsausage, mustard sauce. And fabulous wine pairing . It was again, absolutely Divine!!!
Yesterday the restaurant ran a wonderful event combining an excellent dinner in a beautiful setting with children who could behave like children. We never had such an outstanding dinner together with small children. The service was extremely friendly, the food very, very good, and the...wines fitted perfectly to the meals. For our children (4 and 5 years) the cook had prepared a tiny burger, tiny fries and and tiny pizza as greetings from the kitchen, noodles with pasta and cheese as main course and they were invited into the kitchen for fetching ice-cream as desserts. over, this was all included in our four course dinner with selected wines. There were toys, but most importantly, the kids were allowed to make noise, to move around and to play in the restaurant. It was simply wonderful not to hand-over the children to their grandparents while going to an outstanding restaurant. We just hope that they will run a similar event in the future. Nevertheless, I clicked on 'not-sure ' in the category family-friendly below as I understand that this was a very special event.
Small but fine one can say. the quality of eating, services and ambiente are excellent.
The restaurant is part of the hotel. good food and wine card. we seemed that the prices are much higher than the quality of the kitchen.
