This is a large Italian restaurant located in the heart of Racine. My wife and I really enjoy dining here. My personal favorite is always the lasagna. The service is outstanding—quick and friendly! I highly recommend Salutes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Salute Italian:
Food was good, 2 meatballs on spaghetti was a little sad, and 6 pieces of chicken in pasta was as well, but Service was good, however it was slow service, I'm assuming due to staff shortage. We came to dine 30 minutes after it opened, and the area was sat in was pretty dirty (you can tell it's not swept or mopped) would've given more stars but cleanliness where you eat is a must! I wonder what the kitchen looks like View all feedback.
Solid place. good old school atmosphere. the appetizers were not all that devastated, but good for the price. extremely cheap! pizza was very good! we have the thin crust, I recommend to get garlic on it! in consideration all the food we have and a few glasses wein, it was very cheap! our waitress was very polite and helpful!
Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Large selection of authentic dishes, from pizzas to gnocchi. He waited for about two minutes for a Friday night, and the service was fast and pleasant. 100% would go back.
We were never (or of) Salute Italian restaurant, but were pleasantly surprised with the food. Celebrated a birthday with friends. The food was wonderful the atmosphere very beautiful. Another place to add to our list of places to go for a special occasion.
My fiance and I have been going here at least once a month since we met. Salute makes by far the best Italian food in southeastern Wisconsin, and I am comparing them to some very expensive restaurants. Salute is not expensive at all. They are a family restaurant with amazing service and the best Italian food. They have yet to bring a single thing to our table that didn't taste homemade. I believe even the table bread is house baked. Even the salad dressings are delicious. I can't say enough good about this place. You have to try it
This is the best restaurant in Racine!! This Italian eatery is a hallmark for family values, great cuisine, and charming service. The owners came over to our table and told us about the history of the name Salute which was a perfect manifestation of the home-sweet-home vibe of the overall aesthetic. A can’t miss mom and pop place you just have to try. Salute!
