I reached out to several fine dining establishments in Quito to see if they could accommodate my dietary restrictions, and Chef Juan responded quickly and was eager to create a vegan version of their 8-course tasting menu for me. The dinner was outstanding, with detailed explanations of the ingredients, emphasis on farm-to-table sourcing, and use of local foods. I am thrilled to have found this gem and highly recommend it to both vegans and non-vegans alike. Despite encountering challenges with dietary restrictions in my travels, Juan at Quitu went above and beyond by proactively inquiring about any potential allergens in the dishes. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate dietary needs was truly appreciated.
