Wanted to try something different and these donuts were absolutely delicious!! And i had the strawberry milk tea which i also liked, my wife had the mango one and loved it. It is a little pricey so don't know if I would come back frequently but definitely worth trying. View all feedback.
What Cookie T doesn't like about Zz Dessert:
I purchased three mochi donuts for around $10, excluding tax. I tried the cinnamon, Oreo, and chocolate flavors, which were decent but not the best I've had. The restaurant is okay if you're in the mood for something sweet. The space is very small and crowded, with a line out the door when I arrived. The service at this restaurant is quick and friendly. I always order the Onezo milk tea and Hong Kong style milk tea, both of which have a strong tea flavor that is not diluted. I recommend coming here, but avoid arriving near closing time as the quality may not be as good.
I would recommend not ordering through Yelp/GrubHub for this restaurant. Their full menu and pricing are not available on those platforms, leading to extra fees. It is better to order directly from their website at mochinutonezo.com. The service was quick, especially once I clarified with them what I had ordered through Yelp/GrubHub.
There are many bubble tea options around this area of Quincy, but I picked Onezo because this location is combined with a Mochinut that serves awesome donuts. It 's got a couple tables inside for seating and there 's a cute instagramable Mochinuts 'about you sign and background. You can order at a self service kiosk or at the register. They have 12 different flavors for the Mochinut, but my favorites are the coffee, ube, matcha, and cinnamon. I recommend coming earlier in the day as they usually sell out of the popular flavors by the end of the day. The donuts were soft, flavorful, and delicious. For bubble tea, I love to get the Taro Milk Slush with brown sugar boba. They also have some other asian dessert options.
Finally they are collaborating with Mochinut... I don't need to go to Allston and Chinatown location. They are freshly made, you order the flavor and they will dip into the icing right after. That's why the wait is alittle longer since they have to wait for the icing to cool down before putting into the box. Also I finally tried their hot dogs, I ordered half and half of each. It was little over frying, hopefully next time they can fry better.
